Joshua Tardif
From Vauxhall Baseball Academy to Midland College in Texas, he's competed alongside some of the top talent in North America. With multiple national championships and medals to his name, and a Comeback Player of the Year award after battling back from Tommy John surgery, his journey speaks for itself.
Josh brings elite pitching knowledge and strong experience at first base to our program.
Simon Scrutton
Simon Scrutton is a dedicated and highly experienced baseball coach with over a decade of player development and on-field leadership. Known for his player-first philosophy, and ability to elevate athletes to the highest levels of competition, Simon has established himself as a respected figure in the baseball community. Throughout his coaching career, Simon has helped guide numerous athletes to post-secondary and elite opportunities. His track record includes players leaving for NCAA Division I, JUCO level, and Canadian universities. His commitment to developing complete athletes—skilled, disciplined, and mentally resilient—has made him a sought-after mentor for aspiring players. Simon's passion for the game, combined with his deep knowledge in strength and conditioning continues to shape the next generation of baseball talent. Whether on the field, in the cages, or in the classroom, he strives to inspire excellence in every athlete he coaches.
Dominic Tardif
Coach Dominic Tardif is a former college baseball player who competed in Florida and Texas, bringing high-level experience and elite fundamentals to every athlete he works with. With 13 national championships under his belt and 5 years of coaching with the Maritime Warriors, Dom is known for developing pitchers and outfielders through modern movement patterns, smart mechanics, and intentional, high-quality reps. His coaching style blends intensity, detail, and positivity — helping players grow their skills and confidence.
Jake Greene
Jake Greene is a professional baseball player and former collegiate athlete with two seasons of experience in New Jersey. He has represented Canada in major tournaments in Kansas and Florida and was named the 2024 Under-22 MVP. Now coaching alongside his pro career, Jake brings strong fundamentals, game awareness, and a positive, player-focused approach to helping athletes compete and reach their potential.
Mitchell Hazlett
Mitch brings high-level playing experience and proven coaching skill. A four-year college player in Texas, he's a 5-time Provincial Champion, 2-time Atlantic Champion, Eastern Canadian Champion, and National Champion. He was also an NJCAA Region 5 All-Star and All-Conference selection. For the past five years, he's coached catching and hitting, helping athletes refine their mechanics, build confidence, and elevate their performance. His playing résumé and coaching expertise make him a strong asset to any program aiming to develop competitive well rounded players.
